Each review is a short set of questions built for that kind of matter — about two minutes. Pick the one that fits; if none of them do, call and we will sort it out.

What to have ready

Nothing is required to start. If you have them to hand, these make the first conversation more useful:

  • The date it happened, and the date you reported it.
  • Any claim or report number.
  • Anything the insurer has sent you in writing — particularly a denial letter, a reservation-of-rights letter, or a written offer.
  • The names of anyone else involved, and their insurer if you know it.

If you do not have any of that, call anyway. A missing document is never a reason to wait: deadlines run on their own schedule, and in some matters they are shorter than people expect. If a claim of yours has been denied, the steps to take after a denial are worth reading before you call back the adjuster.

Where we practice

Law Office of Joseph L. Woods, APC is licensed in California, Arizona and New Mexico, and works from one office in Gilbert, Arizona. A case is filed where it belongs, not where the firm keeps a desk — how that works is worth two minutes if you are out of state.

Contacting the firm does not create an attorney–client relationship, and nothing you send before one is established should be treated as confidential in the way a client communication is. Please do not send sensitive documents until we have spoken. General information on this site is not legal advice, and no outcome is promised or implied.
