How to Preserve the Machine & Evidence

Photograph the machine and damage
Photograph the ATV from all angles, any damage, and any part that failed, close up and in context.
Note the conditions
Photograph the trail, hazard, or park conditions where the crash happened, before they change.

A lawyer can move to preserve the machine, demand a rental company keep it, and arrange an expert examination before it is repaired or discarded.
